Kings Bay is at the center of Crystal River, Florida and the collecting point for many of the springs that attract the manatee during the winter months. Many people make the bay and springs their destination for viewing manatee. Crystal River flows out of Kings Bay holding some of Nature Coast's best fishing, namely Red Drum, Speckled Seatrout and Snook, along with many other species. Fishermen come from far and wide to try their hand at catching these three fish called The Inshore Slam. The river meanders its way to the grass flats and the Gulf of Mexico, which is full of countless species of fish.

The Withlacoochee, Homosassa and Rainbow Rivers offer unmatched beauty and wildlife. A trip downstream on any of these waterways will also lead you to the Gulf.

The Cross Florida Barge Canal crosses the Withlacoochee River and also leads to the Gulf of Mexico, creating yet another breathtaking trip for excellent fishing opportunities, sightseeing, island hopping or catching unmatched sunsets.
